I’ve been trying to narrow down my wardrobe choice lately, and not be so fast to pull the trigger when I shop. These days, I definitely look for quality over quantity, and I try to stick to a color palette so everything is interchangeable. My basic style is classic, with a bit of prep and a slight edge. I tend to gravitate toward black, a lot. It’s such a great neutral, it’s slimming, and I think it almost always looks polished.
I haven’t ever been a huge fan of Loft, but lately, they seem to be upping their game a bit and I’ve found a few things that I added to my summer wardrobe this past season. I was checking out the dresses today, when I came across a simple, drapey number.
This is a great piece, with a beautiful, flattering neckline. I would wear this for months here in Southern California, but those in other climates might have to get a little creative. Here are some ideas on how to wear this dress now, and later as the weather cools.
How would you transition this piece into fall? Bonus points for styling it into winter!
